Wanas Journals

A journal from Wanas is a friend in your hands: games, coloring, questions and Wanas's voice, in Egyptian Arabic. Five minutes a day, at your own pace. You can draw instead of writing, and skip any page.

Journal 1 is the first of many. The rest of the series «النُص التاني ليّا» (The Second Half Is Mine) will be revealed step by step, each journal with its own topic and color, so you can grow with them, one journal at a time.

Journal 1: Begin Again

If you're 40 or over and feel you've spent years living for everyone else, and it's time to come back to yourself… this journal is for you. And if you're not that age but feel it's for you, you're welcome.

My Stickers

Put a glittering sticker on any page, whenever you feel like it: hearts, stars, funny faces and cheers, and every feeling too, even sad, angry or jealous. Every feeling is welcome here. Add your own name in glitter letters, or draw your own sticker. The printed journal comes with a sticker sheet.

My Mirror

Every once in a while, your journal gathers your own answers into one page that shows you yourself and your journey. It opens with your name and the nickname you love to be called, and a short profile: your sign, your Enneagram type, the women inside you, and your closest sense (seeing, hearing or feeling). Then it shows your favorite proverb, your Life Wheel, the area you chose to work on, the kind answers you wrote to Naqnouqa, the steps you took, your colors, and a short message from Nagham. It's built on your own device, and only you see it.

Your mirror has a round frame set with 12 colored stones, one for each journal: every journal adds a new color to your mirror. Journal 1 lights up the first stone: your name, your proverb, your Life Wheel and your chosen area, Naqnouqa and Nagham, and your Dare Card. The other stones wait for you softly in their colors: «this color is waiting for you… you'll add it in Journal 2, Who Am I?». Journal by journal, your mirror fills with color, until all its colors are complete on graduation night.
